Kale for Breakfast? I’M IN!

Okay, let me explain.

You know Juicing, and that the best time to drink one is on an empty stomach (so all that Juicy goodness gets to your cells as fast as possible). Now imagine how great you’ll feel about yourself when you’ve just had a Kale Shot for Breakfast. I KNOW! And if no other fruit or vegetable passes your lips all day – it’s Okay! Life is busy.

Can I tell you something? The reason I love Juicing so much is because I don’t eat enough fruit and veg (you can relate right?). Dinner time rolls around and I’m scanning the produce drawer wondering how I’ll squeeze 5 portions into that Family Friendly Dinner Recipe (that EVERYONE will eat).

It’s so much easier to get most of my RDA in a few glasses of Juice, and not only that – How GREAT do you feel all day long after a glass (or two) of Freshly Extracted Juice? YUMMM.

And, why not make a bunch of these shots at once and freeze them in ice cube trays to save time during the week. All you have to do is defrost a few cubes overnight for the next morning. Super easy.

A Shot of Perfect Nutrition! 2 ingredients. Strong, Powerful and Super Healthy!

Ingredients

  • large handful of kale
  • 1 apple

Instructions

    1. Wash the produce and juice the ingredients.
    2. If you are using a Fast Juicer, cut the apple in half. With your Juicer turned off, put one half of the apple into the chute, followed by the kale, then the other half of the apple.
    3. Push down tightly with the plunger to ensure maximum juice extraction.
    4. Down in 1 shot!
